As soon as I turned 16 I got a job in a newsagent/shop. I did this for around 7 months. Giving me more customer service skills and made me realise I wanted to work with people. But doing what?
I couldn’t figure out what to do.
When I left school my mum suggested hairdressing because I was always messing around, styling my own. For a lot of hair stylists and beauty therapists, it is a life long dream. For me it wasn’t and thought I will give it a go. I would try anything. I contacted the local college but got no response. I then decided to go into some salons with my cv. I visited hair by Neil and he gave me a couple of interviews. I got the apprenticeship (Yay). I got this due to my previous job experiences and work ethic. This was the start of my hairdressing journey.
After working at a few salons I decided I wanted to work for myself. Give people a personal service from me. Use my skills to give the best possible services. Give myself some new goals. I rented a chair then moved to the hair branch which Is my current business.
